Energy Recovery
This training deals with the methods and product types that are available for air-to-air recovery of energy in comfort air-conditioning applications. The recovered energy is transferred from the building exhaust airstream to the building ventilation airstream. This transfer can result in energy savings and potential downsizing of the HVAC equipment. Upon completion of this module, the reader should have a specific understanding of the types of energy recovery technology, the best fit for each type, and how to identify recovery opportunities in comfort heating and cooling applications.
